ISLAMABAD:

Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP) Central Leader Aun Chaudhry has stated that no discussions would be held with the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leadership until they condemn the violence that occurred on May 9.

Speaking at a news conference at the National Press Club on Tuesday, he alleged that certain objectionable elements were conspiring against democracy and national institutions to tarnish the country's image, but their efforts would fail.

Chaudhry highlighted that the coalition government was striving to put the country on a path to development by ensuring economic stability. He mentioned that the government was launching mega projects to boost the national economy and alleviate the economic crisis.

“I pledge to expose those responsible for the May 9 incidents. Negotiations with them are only possible if they apologize to the victims and face legal action,” he asserted.

He accused the PTI leadership of perpetuating chaos and anarchy in the country and mocking national institutions. Chaudhry firmly stated that no one would be allowed to interfere in Pakistan’s affairs, accusing PTI of creating turmoil with their political activities.

He vowed to expose PTI for allegedly acquiring funds and donations from the United Kingdom, Dubai, and other countries under the guise of charity.

He claimed these funds were being used to incite violence across the country and that PTI had conspired to insult the country using the Cipher scandal.

During PTI's regime, Chaudhry alleged, its leaders engaged in massive corruption and plundered the national exchequer. He accused PTI stalwarts of establishing illegal properties abroad and playing dirty politics within Pakistan.

He also condemned their campaigns against supreme institutions and their manipulation of Pakistani youth for nefarious purposes.

Chaudhry concluded by emphasising the responsibility of every citizen to unveil these elements and end conspiracies against Pakistan and its institutions.
