The Death of Slim Shady heralds the arrival of a demonic offspring. Eminem revealed on Monday that he will drop his next album on July 12, accompanied by a one-minute horror-themed trailer.

The footage begins with a woman in labor, urged by the doctor: “When I count to three, I need you to push as hard as you can,” Following the baby's birth, the mother cradles her newborn, remarking affectionately, “You’re the little bugger that kept kicking me.”

The infant then opens its completely black eyes and soon develops devil horns and sharp, demon-like teeth. “Holy shit!” exclaim the doctor and nurses. The trailer then shifts to reveal The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) title and release date in vibrant graffiti.

The scene seems to illustrate the imagery from the lyric “little baby devil with the forked tongue and it’s stickin’ out” featured in the single "Houdini" from the album, released in late May.

When will Eminem’s The Death of Slim Shady be released?

As per the video, the album is set to launch on July 12th. Eminem first introduced the album through a trailer styled like a mock documentary, focusing on the demise of his alter ego.

“Through his complex and oft-criticized, tongue-twisting rhymes, the anti-hero known as Slim Shady has had no shortage of enemies,” declared a reporter in the video, who then mockingly published a fictional obituary in the Detroit Free Press.

“His complex and tortured existence has come to a close, and the legacy he leaves behind is no closer to resolution than the manner in which this character departed this world,” read the obituary.
