A selection of Taylor Swift's personal items will be showcased at the Victoria and Albert Museum (V&A) in London later this month.

The free exhibit, "Taylor Swift: Songbook Trail," will feature cowboy boots, dresses, music awards, and storyboards, with many items being displayed for the first time, according to the V&A.

The Grammy-winning artist is currently on her highly successful Eras Tour, with recent stops in cities like Edinburgh, Liverpool, Cardiff, London, and Dublin. The exhibit, which runs from 27 July to 8 September, will include pieces from Swift's archive, offering insight into her childhood and recording legacy.

Notable items in the collection include customised cowboy boots worn during the 2007 Soul2Soul II Tour, where Swift opened for Tim McGraw and Faith Hill.

Also featured is the black ruffled dress from the music video for "Fortnight," the first single from her latest album, The Tortured Poets Department.

The installations for the exhibit were designed by Tom Piper, known for his work on the V&A's 2021 exhibition "Alice: Curiouser And Curiouser."

Kate Bailey, senior curator of the museum's theatre and performance department, expressed excitement about the exhibit: "We are delighted to be able to display a range of iconic looks worn by Taylor Swift at the V&A this summer - each celebrating a chapter in the artist's musical journey. Taylor Swift's songs - like objects - tell stories, often drawing from art, history and literature."

The exhibit promises to provide fans with a unique opportunity to see Swift's memorabilia up close, celebrating her influence in both music and popular culture.
