Adult film star Austin Wolf arrested on child pornography charges
Adult film star Austin Wolf, whose legal name is Justin Heath Smith, has been arrested on charges related to child pornography. The Department of Justice (DOJ) announced on Friday that Smith, 43, is accused of receiving and distributing "hundreds of videos" of child pornography using an anonymous account on the Telegram app.
The DOJ stated, “Those videos depicted children as young as infants, including a video showing a 10-year-old child bound and raped,” describing the video as “ghastly.” Additionally, Smith has been charged with possessing "hundreds of additional videos containing child pornography" in his Manhattan apartment.
According to the criminal complaint, Smith's alleged activities occurred over five days in March. During this period, the FBI seized and searched the phone of the individual with whom Smith had been communicating. An undercover FBI agent then engaged in conversations with Smith's anonymous Telegram account, during which Smith revealed details that confirmed his identity.
In April, the FBI executed a search warrant at Smith’s Manhattan residence and discovered "an SD card with hundreds of videos containing child pornography." Smith faces one count of distribution and receipt of child pornography, carrying a mandatory minimum sentence of five years and a maximum of 20 years in prison, and one count of possession of child pornography, which carries a maximum sentence of 10 years in prison.
