K-P southern districts to get separate secretariat 

ACS South Abid Majeed appointed for this purpose, will report directly to the chief minister

KARACHI:

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has made a decision to create a separate secretariat for the southern districts of the province.

This secretariat will also oversee the districts within the Kohat, Bannu, and DI Khan divisions, as per the announcement.

Abid Majeed, Additional Chief Secretary Interior (ACS South), has been appointed for this purpose.

ACS South has been tasked with drafting proposals for the establishment of the Southern District Secretariat.

These recommendations will be developed after assessing financial and administrative matters and consulting relevant stakeholders.

ACS South will report directly to the Chief Minister in this regard.

Nasir | 1 day ago | Reply What about a Secretariat for Hazara division KP appears to be a very rich province which can afford an army of bureaucrats. No vision only transactionary politics.
