Letitia Wright, known for her role as Shuri in the "Black Panther" franchise, recently hinted at her potential return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).

During an appearance on "The View" to promote her latest film, "Sound of Hope: The Story of Possum Trot," Wright was questioned about the possibility of Shuri's reappearance in upcoming Marvel projects.

While carefully choosing her words, Wright expressed her desire to continue playing the character she considers a "blessing" and is "grateful for." When pressed about a potential third "Black Panther" film, she teased, "There's a lot coming up."

Wright first portrayed Shuri, the technologically gifted sister of T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman), in the 2018 film "Black Panther." She reprised the role in "Avengers: Infinity War" and "Avengers: Endgame," eventually taking on a more prominent role in "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" after Boseman's passing, even becoming the new Black Panther.

Marvel's schedule includes "Avengers 5," slated for release in May 2026, and "Avengers: Secret Wars," set for May 7, 2027. These films could potentially feature Wright's return as Shuri/Black Panther.
