Eight killed in Peshawar over property dispute

A property dispute in Peshawar turned deadly when a shooting left eight people dead, including four women, police reported on Tuesday.

According to SSP Operations Kashif Zulfiqar, the incident occurred at a cousin's house, where the attackers opened fire.

Among the victims were women and children, highlighting the tragic nature of the attack.

"We have formed two teams to arrest the suspects and are conducting raids," SSP Operations Kashif stated, adding that they aim to have the suspects in custody by evening.

Hospital officials at Lady Reading Hospital reported that four victims were brought in, including two children who were pronounced dead on arrival.

One woman succumbed to her injuries during treatment, while another remains in critical condition.

Police are continuing their investigation and have assured the public of swift justice for the victims of this tragic incident.
