Two killed, 3 hurt in car accident

RAWALPINDI:

Two passengers were killed and three others injured, including two children, after a speeding car fell into a ravine in the Ghora Gali area near Danah, witnesses and rescuers said.

The ill-fated family from Rawalpindi was travelling to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to attend a wedding ceremony.

Four Rescue 1122 ambulances rushed to scene and shifted the bodies and injured to a nearby hospital. 45-year-old Ishaq and 32-year-old Aamir were pronounced dead at the scene.

Aamir’s 28-year-old wife Sehrish Aamir, five-year-old son Ahsan Aamir and two-year-old daughter Hareem Aamir were injured. After providing medical aid at Samli Hospital, the injured were transferred to PIMS Hospital in Islamabad for further treatment where the woman’s condition is said to be serious.
