An executive has claimed that the Walt Disney Company discriminates against white men, according to an undercover video by the O’Keefe Media Group.

The video features Michael Giordano, a senior vice president and team lead at Disney, discussing these allegations.

Giordano stated, “I have friends in HR and other divisions. They’re like, ‘Look, nobody else is going to tell you this, Mike, but they’re not considering any white males for the job.’” He emphasised that being a white male hinders his career advancement, noting, “As far as Disney is concerned, I am a white male, and that’s not who they’re looking to promote at the moment.”

Giordano also mentioned that a biracial employee was overlooked for a promotion because he did not appear African American.

He further alleged that Disney uses euphemistic language to avoid legal repercussions, explaining, “They use code words and buzzwords to explain what they’re looking for… so it’s not a legally actionable thing.”

According to O’Keefe, Disney awards bonuses to executives based on their recruitment of employees from non-white backgrounds.
