Khloé Kardashian is looking back on the early days of her relationship with ex-husband Lamar Odom.

During the June 20 episode of The Kardashians, Khloé shared memories of Lamar's persistence with her best friend, Malika Haqq, while discussing her current dating challenges.

Malika, 41, mentioned that a new man she was talking to "never stopped texting me last night, I just didn't respond." Khloé, 39, replied, "Oh, I love a person who knows what they want."

Reflecting on her past, Khloé said, "The best thing Lamar did — well, not the best thing, he did a lot of good things — but when I wouldn't give him my number, he found out that we had the same business manager. And then [he] was hounding Lester for my info. It was a turn on, it's sexy… you want a little aggressiveness."

Khloé added, "I also don't think it's good when we're both comfortable being single, without wanting to date," and discussed her cautious approach to dating.

"It's a scary world out there, there's phones everywhere," she said. "I definitely think what I've been through is a factor why I'm not just like, 'Let's just start dating again!'"

"I don't want to f--- up my kids," Khloé continued. "So much has already transpired that could potentially f--- them up that I don’t want to add to that by bringing somebody new to mix 'cause so far, people have been very disappointing.

I'm just not gonna open myself up the same way that I once did, but I don't think there's anything wrong with that. I also think that's what growing up is, you learn to protect yourself."

Khloé and Lamar married on September 27, 2009, a month after they met, but their marriage fell apart in 2013 due to Lamar's cheating scandal and drug relapse. By December 2013, Khloé had filed for divorce.

The couple signed divorce papers in July 2015, but Lamar’s drug overdose in October delayed proceedings. Khloé supported Lamar during his recovery, but they finalized their divorce in December 2016.

Khloé later dated NBA player Tristan Thompson, with whom she shares two children, daughter True, 6, and son Tatum, 22 months. Despite several cheating scandals, Khloé and Tristan remain on friendly terms as co-parents.

The reality star has expressed contentment with her single status. "I’m very content and I’m happy," she explained in a previous episode.

"I feel like I’m f---ing thriving in my own little circle and world, but just even to think about someone being in my space where I have to share my TV or my bed, I'm like, no. No means no and that's all you gotta know. I'm just finding my rhythm in life again, I guess.”

New episodes of The Kardashians drop Thursdays at 12 a.m. ET on Hulu.
