Set photos from 'The Witcher' season 4 offers a first look at Laurence Fishburne as the vampire character Regis.

Announced in January 2024, Fishburne's role as Regis is highly anticipated, though specifics about his involvement in the plot have been minimal.

UnBoxPHD released a video featuring a set photo of Fishburne as Regis, showcasing him with a black and grey wig, dressed in formal green and blue attire, and red boots.

Season 3 of 'The Witcher' ended with Geralt embarking on a quest to locate Ciri, hinting at new allies and threats. Regis, introduced in 'Baptism of Fire,' the fifth book of the series, is a vampire who abstains from drinking blood and eventually becomes one of Geralt's trusted allies. In the books, Regis leaves his position as the barber-surgeon of Dillingen to join Geralt on his journey.

Season 4 is expected to follow this narrative, with Regis playing a crucial role in assisting Geralt. Fishburne's addition to the cast brings significant talent to the series. Despite uncertainty about the show's reception following Liam Hemsworth replacing Henry Cavill as Geralt, Regis' character might strengthen the storyline.
