Justin Timberlake seen leaving courthouse following DWI arrest
Justin Timberlake was arrested for DWI early Tuesday in Sag Harbor.
Images show Timberlake driving his gray BMW SUV following a black sedan south on Main Street, near the American Hotel where he had just left. The police report indicates that Timberlake, 43, ran a stop sign and struggled to stay in his lane on Madison Street, a main traffic artery in the village.
Officers observed Timberlake failing to maintain a straight line while driving and pulled him over, suspecting he was driving under the influence. Timberlake reportedly told police he had only one martini and was following friends home. Despite friends attempting to intervene, Timberlake was arrested and held overnight, TMZ reports.
According to TMZ, Timberlake was arraigned at Sag Harbor Village Justice Court at 9:30 a.m. and released on his own recognizance, meaning no bail was set. Photo of Timberlake leaving the courthouse has since surfaced.
Timberlake's arraignment and subsequent release on recognizance mark the latest development in the incident, with further legal proceedings expected to follow.
