Pakistan sends its 9th humanitarian aid shipment to Palestine

Aid totalling around 300 tons comprises medicines, hygiene kits, food packs

ISTANBUL:

Pakistan dispatched its ninth shipment of humanitarian aid to Palestine, the Prime Minister’s Office announced Friday.

The aid, totalling around 300 tons, comprises medicines, hygiene kits, and food packs, and is destined for Aqba Port in Jordan for further distribution to Gaza.

This shipment follows eight previous consignments sent by Islamabad, including winterised tents, blankets, surgical supplies, medicines, female dignity kits, and food packs.

Israel has killed nearly 37,800 Palestinians, most of them women and children, and injured over 85,100 since Oct. 7, according to local health authorities.

Over eight months into the Israeli war, vast tracts of Gaza lay in ruins amid a crippling blockade of food, clean water and medicine.

Francis De Costa | 6 months ago | Reply When Pakistan does not have enough to feed their own people and depending on foreign aid - it is repackaging aid materials received from Saudis UAE Turkey etc sending it to Palestine.
