Metro Boomin, the renowned music producer known for his chart-topping hits, has ventured into the world of comics with the launch of his new series,

"The Metroverse." Announced on June 11, this project expands his creative landscape, merging his musical prowess with his passion for graphic storytelling.

Following his success with the Billboard 200 No. 1 album "Heroes & Villains" and his work on the soundtrack for "Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse," Metro continues to blend music with visual art.

"The Metroverse" is a superhero saga that visually interprets Metro's musical journey, created in collaboration with Joshua Frankel of Zero Zero and Patrick Stephens.

Renowned Greek artist Vasilis Lolos, known for his work with My Chemical Romance, brings the story to life with stunning illustrations.

"It’s a dream come true to have my own comic book The Metroverse on shelves," Metro expressed in a press release.

"Josh and Patrick helped bring my superhero vision to life on these pages with the talented Vasilis Lolos making it pop with incredible visuals. I can’t wait to share what we’ve created with my fans."

The narrative kicks off with "Metro Boomin The Rise #1," set to release on Friday, June 14 at 8:00 a.m. PT.

This inaugural issue features 4,000 standard and 300 signed editions. It introduces readers to The Suit, a villainous media mogul who uses his powers for corporate corruption and media manipulation.

Metro Boomin stands against this formidable foe with his creativity, beats, and a magical amulet.

Fans of Metro can immerse themselves in the Metroverse at a special pop-up event on Thursday, June 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. PT at Complex LA.

This event will feature limited-edition merchandise and offer fans the first chance to snag a copy of the debut issue, which will also drop exclusively on ComplexShop at 9:00 a.m. before its official launch at Metroverse.Media at 9:00 p.m. PT.

"The Metroverse, a brainchild of Metro’s, has been exhilarating to work on from beginning to end," said Frankel.

"With Zero Zero’s mission to transcend boundaries, we really honed in on the most authentic storyline and visuals in each issue that complemented Metro’s raw superhero vision. I know his fans are going to go wild for this series!"
