Rarely do we see such a gathering of renowned women, gathered around a table for The Hollywood Reporter's ‘Drama Actress Emmy Roundtable.’ Nicole Kidman, Naomi Watts, Jennifer Aniston, Jodie Foster, Sofia Vergara, Brie Larson, and Anna Sawai all participated.

It is surprising that even Sofia Vergara, aged 51, experiences imposter syndrome. Despite her global acclaim for her roles in Modern Family and her recent work, Vergara admits to feeling inadequate compared to her peers.

“I feel very awkward here because this is my favorite group of actresses, and I realize I don’t know anything about acting,” she confessed, causing concern for Aniston, who has firsthand experience transitioning from comedic roles to more serious ones.

Vergara believes that her distinctive Colombian accent contributes to her challenge in avoiding being typecast.

“When I decide to do something different, it’s hard because this accent is beautiful, but it’s like, I cannot be a scientist, I cannot be an astronaut,” she said.

In the star-studded discussion, the women conversed about various topics, ranging from navigating aging in Hollywood to their favorite emojis that they frequently use.
