David Beckham's admirers are urging the BBC to grant him his gardening program, likening him to a "human golden retriever" following his revelations about home life.

The ex-footballer, aged 49, recently turned to Instagram to showcase his newfound interest in gardening.

In a video posted on Saturday, Beckham is seen planting a Queen of Sweden rose shrub, cheered on by his wife Victoria, aged 50.

David Beckham's supporters swiftly offered him advice on his gardening technique, prompting him to post another video the following day planting a second rose shrub and expressing gratitude for their guidance.

The videos garnered over one million likes, with many praising Beckham as the unexpected "gardening influencer" and expressing hopes for him to host his own television show on the subject.

David shared his first gardening post, featuring a series of clips filmed by Victoria.

The next day, Beckham posted another video, this time self-filmed, in response to the previous day's videos.
