Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, turns 47 today and as a father of four with ex-wife Kim Kardashian, Ye shares a particularly special bond with his eldest daughter, North.

According to HELLO! Magazine, North West is often seen as a "daddy's girl." Ye's journey through fatherhood has not been without challenges. The unexpected loss of his mother, Donda, in 2007 profoundly affected him, leading him to blame himself for her passing.

However, the birth of his daughter North marked a turning point. “After I lost my mother, there were times I would put my life at risk. I felt like sometimes I didn’t have something to live for. Now I have two really special people to live for,” Ye told Paper magazine in April 2015.

Despite tensions in his relationship with Kim, Ye's love for his children remains clear. In his 2021 song ‘Eazy,’ he criticized Kim's parenting style but emphasized his commitment to their children, saying, "Noncustodial dad, I bought the house next door."

North's admiration for her father is evident in her social media posts and public appearances. In a 2020 Yeezy fashion show, she performed a solo rap, showcasing her talents and confidence. During an interview with i-D magazine, North acknowledged her father’s influence, though she added, "I like singing. Performing is my favorite."

Ye's influence on North extends beyond talent, as she often wears his clothes and even donned his iconic bear mascot costume from his 2007 album, ‘Graduation.’ Their bond continues to thrive, reflecting the profound impact they have on each other's lives.
