Apple cancels secret ‘Yeezy Airpods’ collab with Kanye West after sexual harassment allegations

Leaked ‘Yeezy Airpods’ images on social media led to widespread fan excitement, prompting the decision to cancel.

In a bizarre turn of events, Apple has reportedly pulled the plug on its secretive collaboration with Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, for Yeezy Airpods, citing recent sexual harassment allegations against the rap mogul.

The tech giant, known for its innovative products, had been rumored to be working closely with West on a special edition of Airpods designed to complement his Yeezy brand.

The decision came after leaked images of the purported Yeezy Airpods flooded social media platforms, sparking widespread excitement among fans. However, the joy quickly turned to disappointment as allegations surfaced from Kanye's former assistant, Lauren Pisciotta. Pisciotta, who worked closely with West for several years, accused him of sexual harassment and creating a hostile work environment.

Social media platforms exploded with reactions to the news, with many expressing disappointment and outrage over the allegations against West. Twitter user @TechieFanatic wrote, "I was so excited for those Yeezy Airpods, but not at the cost of supporting someone accused of harassment. Good move, Apple." Meanwhile, Instagram influencer @SneakerHeadQueen posted, "Wow, just when you think you can't be surprised anymore. Props to Apple for taking a stand."

Both Apple and Ye's representatives have remained tight-lipped about the situation, leaving fans wondering about the future of the collaboration and the Yeezy Airpods project.
