Man wising to remarry killed by sons

According to the police, the farmland owner was brutally murdered by his sons in the Pakpattan Saddar area.

A 60-year-old man was allegedly killed by his sons after he expressed the desire to marry a second time.

According to the police, the farmland owner was brutally murdered by his sons in the Pakpattan Saddar area.

The police stated that the sons had lodged a case against unknown armed persons by labeling the murder as related to a land dispute. According to the FIR, armed men stormed the victim’s home over a land dispute in Pakpattan and shot dead the victim.

The incident took place when the deceased, Khurshid, was sleeping in a cattle shed. The suspects claimed that five unknown armed men had barged into the house.

The armed men thrashed the family members, locked them in a room and shot Khurshid before escaping.

The police registered a case on the complaint of the victim's son Irfan and started the investigation.

Saddar Police Station SHO Jahanzeb Wattoo took the sons of the into custody over suspicion.

During interrogation, the sons confessed to the murder of their father and the police also seized the murder weapon.

DSP Zahooruddin David said that after killing their father, the suspects had blamed a land dispute and lodged a murder case against five unknown attackers. Khurshid wanted to get married again, which had infuriated his sons, upon which they that murderd him, the official asserted.
