The Weeknd hinted at a potential collaboration with Apple by posting a picture of framed photos featuring the company's logo on his Instagram Story.

It's likely the photo was taken at Apple's headquarters. In his June 1 post, he didn't provide much detail, only including three emojis in the caption: the eyes emoji, the music notes emoji, and the film camera emoji.

The Weeknd has hinted at having another album in the works for years. In 2022, he disclosed that his previous two projects, After Hours and DawnFM, were part of a trilogy.

Earlier this year, he posted the cover art for both albums on Instagram, followed by a question mark. In the caption, he simply wrote the number three.

Although he hasn't officially announced his next album, he's remained active by releasing new music through features. Recently, he appeared on Metro Boomin and Future's collaborative album, We Still Don't Trust You.

In an interview with Spotify's RapCaviar following the album's release, Metro disclosed that he also contributed production to The Weeknd's upcoming album.

“Me and him working on a lot of stuff. You know, we cookin’ up for his new album. A lot of people gonna be real pleased and even more happier," Metro Boomin said ahead of a show in Eygpt.
