Taylor Swift's Eras Tour brought a vibrant celebration of Pride Month to Lyon, France, on June 2nd. The pop icon marked the occasion with a spectacular show at Groupama Stadium, featuring rainbow-themed lighting and a performance of her LGBTQ+ anthem, "You Need to Calm Down."
Swift, 34, greeted the enthusiastic crowd with "Happy Pride Month, Lyon!" before launching into her hit song, which was accompanied by a dazzling display of rainbow lights and decor. The performance resonated with fans, who waved their hands in unison, creating a sea of colourful unity.
During the concert, Swift also treated fans to surprise song selections, including a piano medley of "The Prophecy" and "Long Story Short," followed by a mashup of "You're on Your Own Kid" and "Fifteen." Despite the rainy weather, the singer's energy and enthusiasm remained undeterred, embracing the elements with a playful shout of "Pluie, rain!"
While her boyfriend, Travis Kelce, has been making appearances on her European tour, he was notably absent from the Lyon show, having attended a fundraising event in Kansas City the night before. However, Kelce's presence was felt through a humorous exchange with actor Jason Sudeikis, who playfully inquired about his plans to propose to Swift.
Following her Lyon performance, Swift is set to continue her European tour with a three-night stint in Edinburgh, Scotland.
