Nicki Minaj's June 2nd Amsterdam concert canceled following arrest

The rapper’s upcoming Amsterdam gig has been axed after her recent arrest for allegedly carrying drugs.

Nicki Minaj's highly anticipated concert in Amsterdam on June 2 has been abruptly canceled following her recent arrest for allegedly carrying drugs.

The rapper was scheduled to perform at the Ziggo Dome as part of her Pink Friday 2 World Tour.

However, Dutch promoter Mojo announced the show's cancellation in light of last week's events.

In a statement, Mojo said, "Due to the events of last week, the Nicki Minaj show on Sunday, 2nd June at Ziggo Dome, Amsterdam will no longer be taking place. Tickets will be refunded at the point of sale."

Minaj was arrested last week at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol while traveling to Manchester.

The National Police Corps stated that a 41-year-old woman was detained for allegedly attempting to transport soft drugs out of the country.

She was released on Saturday and will have to pay a fine, as determined by the Public Prosecution Service.

The incident also forced the cancellation of her show at Manchester’s Co-op Live on May 25.

Despite efforts to proceed with the performance, the event was ultimately postponed.

Minaj took to social media to deny the allegations, claiming airport security had unfairly targeted her.

The rapper has yet to comment on the latest cancellation of her Amsterdam concert.
