Venue of key PML-N moot changed

LAHORE:

The venue of the PML-N general council meeting on May 28 – being held to appoint the new party president -- has been changed, it was learnt on Friday.

According to PM-N sources, instead of the party’s secretariat in Lahore’s Model Town, the meeting will be organised at hotel in the city.

All 3,500 members of the PML-N general council have been instructed to reach the hotel on May 28, they added.

The party’s sources further said the PML-N general council meeting would start at 3pm.
PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif has recently decided to take back the reins of the party from his younger brother, PM Shehbaz Sharif.
