Taylor Swift gives Joe Keery a confidence boost with "End of Beginning" praise

Joe Keery, known for his role as Steve Harrington in "Stranger Things," received a major confidence boost when pop superstar Taylor Swift praised his song "End of Beginning." In a recent episode of the "Spout Podcast," Keery recalled a chance encounter with Swift at Electric Lady recording studio in New York City where she expressed her admiration for the track.

Keery initially met Swift a couple of times before, but this time she surprised him by saying, "Hey, I really love that track of yours, 'End of Beginning.'" Keery, taken aback, couldn't fathom how Swift had even heard his song. He later realised that Swift's love for music and her penchant for discovering new artists likely led her to his work.

Keery shared another anecdote from the same day on "The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon." He described leaving the studio and being met by a large crowd of fans waiting for Taylor Swift. The crowd's confusion upon seeing Keery instead of Swift added a humorous twist to the story.

In the "Spout Podcast '' interview, Keery also reflected on the upcoming fifth and final season of "Stranger Things," acknowledging that the reality of the show's end hasn't fully sunk in yet. He expressed his admiration for the writers' work and the cast's commitment to doing the material justice.

"Stranger Things" season five is currently in production and is expected to be released in 2025.
