Pitbull gives his blessing to Bridgerton for using his hit song "Give Me Everything"

Pitbull has expressed his enthusiasm for the inclusion of a stripped-down version of his 2011 hit "Give Me Everything" in the third season of Netflix's "Bridgerton."

The rapper took to Instagram to share a clip from the show featuring the song, accompanied by a message of gratitude to the show's creator and collaborators on the original track. He emphasised how the song's use in the period drama demonstrates the universal and enduring power of music.

Fans were surprised to hear a string cover of the dance track playing in the background of a steamy carriage scene between Nicola Coughlan and Luke Newton. The song, which originally featured Ne-Yo, Afrojack, and Nayer, was a massive success, spending 45 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and becoming Pitbull's first number-one hit.

"Bridgerton" showrunner Jess Brownell explained in an interview with Business Insider that the song's build-up and crescendo perfectly captured the emotional intensity of the scene.

Music supervisor Justin Kamps echoed this sentiment in an interview with Tudum, emphasising the song's ability to create anticipation and then explode into a satisfying climax.

The first part of "Bridgerton" season 3 is currently available on Netflix, with the second part set to drop on June 13th.
