Comedian Ali Wong is embracing her newfound single life with characteristic humour and candour. During her recent Netflix Is a Joke Festival residency, she shared hilarious anecdotes about her dating escapades, including a whirlwind romance with an ardent admirer who showered her with flowers during a European vacation. Wong's friends were divided on whether this gesture was romantic or psychopathic, but the comedian ultimately found it endearing.
But that wasn't the only love story Wong had to share. In a surprise twist, she invited her mystery admirer onstage – none other than actor and comedian Bill Hader. Hader presented Wong with a rose and confirmed their relationship, much to the delight of the audience. He even revealed himself as the subject of another Wong joke, in which he played a bumbling white guy named "Blake" who accidentally poured hot tea into rice bowls during a Chinese dinner date.
Hader's confession and declaration of love brought the show to a heartwarming close, leaving the audience cheering and Wong officially "off the market."
