Taylor Swift has filed a copyright application for the phrase “Female Rage The Musical,” according to TMZ.
This move comes after Swift debuted a new section of her Eras Tour dedicated to her latest album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” which she nicknamed “Female Rage The Musical.”
The 14-time Grammy winner shared a series of photos on May 13 from the black-and-white themed set in her Paris shows.
“This post is dedicated to the new Tortured Poets section of the Eras Tour (aka Female Rage The Musical!) and everyone who made these memories so magical,” she wrote on Instagram.
During the set, Swift performs several songs from the album, including her chart-topping hit, “Fortnight,” as well as “Down Bad,” “So High School,” “I Can Do it with a Broken Heart,” “Who's Afraid of Little Old Me” and “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.”
While the copyright application covers potential uses for “Female Rage The Musical” in recordings and merchandise, fans are speculating that a full-fledged musical is in development.
