TWICE's Nayeon announces solo album to release this summer

Nayeon is the first member of TWICE to debut as a solo artist.

TWICE member Nayeon is set to release her new solo album this summer, marking her return to solo activities after two years.

According to AllKpop, the album is scheduled to be released on June 14, 2024.

In 2022, Nayeon began her solo career while continuing to be part of the 4th generation K-pop group.

Nayeon's debut mini album, “I’m Nayeon”, was released in June 2022, featuring the title track “POP!” which has garnered over 200 million streams on Spotify.

The mini-album consisted of 7 tracks, including "NO PROBLEM", "LOVE COUNTDOWN", "CANDY FLOSS", "ALL OR NOTHING", "HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU", and "SUNSET".

Nayeon's solo debut was a huge success, with over 500,000 physical copies sold and receiving a 2x Platinum certification from KMCA (Korea Music Content Association).

Now, fans are eagerly anticipating the K-pop star's new release, with one fan writing on X, "QUEEN IS COMING TO SAVE KPOP."

TWICE, Nayeon’s girl group, comprises members Dahyun, Jeongyeon, Mina, Sana, Jihyo, Tzuyu, Momo, and Chaeyoung. The group is known for hit songs like "What is Love?", "Moonlight Sunrise", "Set Me Free", "One Spark", and more.

Nayeon is the first member of TWICE to debut as a solo artist.
