Amazon Prime Video has officially confirmed a sequel to the film 'Red, White & Royal Blue'. Stars Nicholas Galitzine and Taylor Zakhar Perez will reprise their roles as Prince Henry and Alex Claremont-Diaz, respectively.

Based on Casey McQuiston's bestselling young adult romance novel, 'Red, White & Royal Blue' captured hearts with its charming story of a secret relationship between the First Son of the United States and a British prince. While the plot for the sequel remains a mystery, fans can expect more of the chemistry and heartwarming moments that made the first film a success.

Matthew López, who wrote the original film, will return to pen the sequel's script alongside author Casey McQuiston. Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter of Berlanti Schechter Films will also produce, with Michael McGrath and López joining as producers. McQuiston will serve as an executive producer.

The announcement of the sequel was made during a special screening of 'Red, White & Royal Blue' at the Culver Theater. The film's popularity on Prime Video and its positive critical reception make this sequel a highly anticipated event.
