Camila Cabello has just revealed the title, artwork, and release date for her upcoming fourth album, “C,XOXO,” arriving on June 28.
This announcement follows the March release of her latest single, “I Luv It,” an electro-pop track featuring rapper Playboi Carti.
The cover art features Cabello with platinum blonde hair, licking a bright blue lollipop, alongside the album's title, hinting at a potentially lighter and more playful sound compared to her previous work.
“C,XOXO” marks Cabello's fourth studio album, following the success of “Camila” (2018), “Romance” (2019), and “Familia” (2022). “I Luv It” serves as the lead single for the new era, showcasing a clear shift towards a more electronic and energetic sound for the artist.
Cabello credits her collaborators, Pablo “El Guincho” Díaz-Reixa and Jasper Harris, for helping her take new directions in music. Both collaborators have worked with other influential artists in the genre, including Rosalía and Jack Harlow.
In a recent interview, Cabello spoke about embracing her individuality, “I do feel like I'm a weirdo, and that's the music that I love, and that's the music that I feel the most proud of making.”
