Their collaboration on 'IF' marks a departure from the Scranton workplace sitcom, with Carell voicing a lovable imaginary friend named Blue.
Krasinski, who directs the film, shared his heartfelt reason for casting Carell: "He's just going to give you giant hugs and be adorable. And what better person to do that than Steve Carell."
But the reunion wasn't just about laughs. Krasinski revealed that Carell's support on set brought him to tears.
The former co-star offered an encouraging speech about his pride in Krasinski's filmmaking journey, making the experience all the more special.
