Eva Evans, a beloved TikToker and co-creator of the comedy series "Club Rat," has passed away at the age of 29, leaving fans, friends, and family mourning her loss.
Born in Manhattan, New York, Eva's career was marked by notable collaborations with major brands such as Dior, Gucci, Nike, and Apple. She also worked with celebrities like Miley Cyrus.
Eva's sister, Lila Joy, announced the Tiktoker’s death on Sunday in a tribute on Instagram, sharing a throwback photo of her late sibling smiling and dancing.
“Yesterday my family received news that our sweet, fabulous, creative, caring, hilarious Eva, my beautiful sister, has died,” Joy posted on Instagram. “After 24 hours, i still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so i know how unbelievable and hard to process this news will be.”
The cause of death was not revealed, but Joy announced a celebration of life to be held Tuesday in lower Manhattan.
Eva was responsible for writing, acting in, and creating the Amazon Prime mini-series “Club Rat,” in which she played a “self-absorbed influencer who attempts to re-enter the chaotic New York City dating scene after a video of her humiliating breakup goes viral.”
Eva was also popular on TikTok, where she amassed over 307,000 followers. She posted videos of her life as a filmmaker and other lifestyle content about her life in New York.
