At least 10 people, including four women, were killed in a road accident on Tuesday in Sindh’s southern district of Umerkot, Edhi ambulance officials said.
According to reports, several devotees were returning after paying their respects at the shrine of Gul Muhammad Ghazi when the driver lost control of the speeding bus on a road already slippery because of rainfall. The bus was carrying 25 passengers. The Rangers have shifted the injured to a nearby hospital. The victims, including the injured, belong to Tharparkar district of Sindh.
Earlier, six people were killed and 29 others were injured in an accident on Jhang road near Bukharian when a bus rammed into a parked truck on Monday. (WITH ADDITIONAL INPUT FROM NEWS DESK)
