Car riders shoot dead biker in DHA

In stark example of diminishing value of human life, a man was killed and another injured simply over an argument at a traffic signal in DHA Phase V on Friday evening.

Two young people, Imran, 25, and Umar, 24, in festive mood out and about on their bike got into an argument over crossing a traffic signal in phase V with men in a car.

The persons riding the car without any fear of law or God, opened fire on the riders and left unchallenged.

Imran and Umar were rushed to JPMC in critical condition, however, Imran, succumbed to bullet injuries to chest South Zone SSP Sajid Saduzai said.

Saduzai said police have also found a fake pistol from the scene of the incident, but the investigation is being conducted in this regard that if injured citizen is involved in street crime incident. In this regard, police are investigating and CCTV footage of the area is also being checked. According to SSP South, the eyewitnesses have told the police that people in a vehicle fired at the motorcyclists. In the investigation, this incident does not appear to be a robbery, however, more facts may come out after the CCTV or the statement of the injured
