Sabrina Carpenter is offering a pre-Coachella treat for her fans. The pop singer has revealed that her new single "Espresso" will be released later this week, just in time for her appearance at Coachella 2024. Carpenter unveiled the single's release date and cover artwork on social media.
The cover art features a retro aesthetic, showcasing Carpenter against a baby-blue background. Her long blonde hair flows effortlessly as the song title, "Espresso", stands out in bold brown letters.
"just wanted to put out a little song before Coachella," she shared on Instagram, along with the artwork and a brown heart emoji. "Espresso 4/11 8pm EST.”
Carpenter will join a star-studded lineup at both weekends of Coachella. Lana Del Rey, Doja Cat, and Tyler, the Creator will headline, with No Doubt reuniting for a special performance. Other performers include Peso Pluma, Lil Uzi Vert, J Balvin, Blur, Ice Spice, and many more. The festival begins on Friday (April 12).
Carpenter's most recent musical release was her holiday EP "Fruitcake", dropped in November 2023. She also released a deluxe edition of her 2022 album, "Emails I Can't Send", which included her recent Billboard Hot 100 top 40 hit, "Feather".
Fresh from opening for Taylor Swift's global Eras Tour, Carpenter is ready to take center stage. “It almost feels like a Broadway show because everything is so synchronized, but at the same time feels so in the moment,” she said of the tour in a recent interview. “I feel so lucky that I get to watch Taylor perform every time. It makes me want to tour the world again, which is a good feeling.”
