Two terrorists killed in South Waziristan operation

Security forces on Tuesday conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa’s South Waziristan district, killing two terrorists, the military said.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the terrorists were neutralized following an intense fire exchange during the operation.

Weapons along with a large quantity of explosives were also recovered from killed terrorists, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities in the area, it added.

It further said that sanitisation operation is being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area as the security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.
