Sony and Apple have unveiled the highly anticipated trailer for "Fly Me to the Moon."
The Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum-starrer romantic comedy is scheduled for release on July 12th.
Set against the thrilling backdrop of the 1960s space race, the film sees Johansson as a marketing executive tasked with a top-secret mission by NASA – to film a fake moon landing in case the actual mission goes awry.
Apple secured the project in 2022 with a massive $100 million deal after a competitive bidding war. Originally titled "Project Artemis," this marks the first time Johansson and Tatum have shared the screen, though Chris Evans was initially attached to the project.
Johansson recently spoke about her on-screen chemistry with Tatum in People magazine: "Channing is such an easy-going actor, good spirited and professional. Falling in love with him onscreen was pretty easy. He's such a likable person. Kelly and Cole are such opposites. It was fun to play that dynamic with Channing."
The film boasts a star-studded supporting cast including Jim Rash, Ray Romano, Anna Garcia, Donald Elise Watkins, Noah Robbins, Colin Woodell, Nick Dillenburg, Christian Zuber, and Woody Harrelson. Greg Berlanti, known for his work on hit TV shows like "Arrow," "The Flash," "The Flight Attendant," and "Riverdale" and films such as "Love, Simon" and "The Broken Hearts Club," directs from a script by Rose Gilroy.
Johansson serves as producer through her banner, These Pictures, alongside Jonathan Lia, Keenan Flynn, and Sarah Schechter for Berlanti Productions. Robert Dohrmann acts as executive producer.
