As Jake Paul gears up for his bout against Mike Tyson on July 20, the spotlight shifts to his brother Logan Paul, who recently clinched victory over jiu-jitsu champion Dillon Danis in a grudge match.

Despite Paul announcing a hiatus from the ring following the controversial fight, former British champion and ex-sparring partner of Tyson, 'Big' Joe Egan, has stepped forward with a challenge aimed directly at Paul.

In a video posted on X, Egan extended the invitation, “You like your brother, I'm sure has courage. So why don't you get in and me and you can box. [You] boxed that Dillon [Danis] cage fighter, you gave him a savage beating...I won't offend you in any way. It will be just two fighting men getting in and exchanging punches. And the best man will win on the night. I let you into my house on Christmas because I thought that this show would go to Apple but instead, you plastered it on your personal YouTube channel. What, your deal with Apple didn't work out? Part of me believes that Graham would use me and likeness to sell what he thinks would be a pilot because where are your other Apple episodes, Graham?"

Egan, aged 59 and approaching his 60th year, boasts an illustrious boxing career with seven Irish championships to his name.

Renowned for his presence in the British sports podcasting realm and frequent appearances as a boxing analyst on platforms like 'True Geordie' and talkSPORT, Egan has never shied away from voicing his opinions, often drawing attention for his outspoken remarks against figures like John Fury.

Despite Tyson's accolade dubbing him the 'toughest white man on the planet,' the vast age gap between Egan and Paul makes the prospect of a match between them highly improbable.
