ISLAMABAD: The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) has seized around 1,912 kilogrammes of narcotics, including opium, morphine and heroin from different cities during August.
According to the anti-narcotics ministry, 810 kilogrammes of opium, 849 kilogrammes of morphine and 35 kilogrammes of heroin were seized in Chagai, Balochistan and six kilogrammes of heroin in Attock.
The ANF Rawalpindi recovered 16 kilogrammes of heroin from a passenger at the Islamabad airport, while the ANF Peshawar detained a car driver in possession of 50 kilogrammes of heroin in Hayatabad.
The ANF Lahore recovered 46 kilogrammes of heroin.
