Jeremy Allen White, known for his acclaimed performance in "The Bear," is in talks to play Bruce Springsteen in the new film "Deliver Me From Nowhere."
The movie is based on Warren Zanes' exploration of the iconic 1982 "Nebraska" album.
Bruce Springsteen, the legendary musician also known as "The Boss," is renowned for his dynamic live shows and the deeply personal album "Nebraska."
Praised for its genuine portrayal of American life, "Nebraska" is among Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Albums. Springsteen, reflecting on its significance, told CBS News, "If one album represents me, it’d be 'Nebraska'."
The project, yet to finalise deals, may see Scott Cooper directing and A24 considering collaboration with Gotham Group's Eric Robinson and Ellen Goldsmith-Vein.
Scott Stuber joins as producer in a notable move post-Netflix, aiming to reflect Springsteen's pivotal shift in "Nebraska," crafted in his New Jersey residence.
White, riding high from his "The Bear" success and recognition in A24’s "The Iron Claw," continues to make waves in the industry, currently filming upcoming seasons of the FX series in Chicago.
