Provincial-level successful athletes will be part of Sindh squad for National Games

The 18th edition of Sindh Games will be held from February 23 to 26 in which 4,000 athletes from six divisions of the province would participate.

Winners of the Sindh Games will be awarded by medals and Sindh Achievement Awards. Provincial-level successful athletes will be part of the Sindh squad for the National Games.

This was stated by Sindh Sports and Culture Minister Syed Junaid Shah and Sindh Caretaker Information Minister Syed Muhammad Ahmed Shah while addressing a joint press conference at the Sindh Assembly Building on Wednesday.

The interim minister said over 4,000 athletes, male and female, from six divisions of the province will take part in the games which will be continued till February 26.

Ahmed Shah said, “ We aim to play a supportive role in propelling Sindh’s talent to international prominence.”

He termed this press conference their last one of the provincial caretaker set up as election process had been completed and new government will be formed soon and the oath taking ceremonies of the newly appointed ministers would be held in a few days.
