With February 14 right at our doorsteps, the internet is all set for the outpouring of love, flowers and all things red. While lovebirds sit tight in anticipation for Valentine’s Day to mark their romantic journeys, others are rocking the solo status in the company of their beloved friends and family.
In the glittering world of celebrities, where relationships often make headlines, two well-known personalities have recently engaged in a playful banter, showcasing their wit and humour while discussing the prospect of being single on the brink of this annual occasion.
The exchange unfolded between Pakistani actors Sehar Khan and Usama Khan on Instagram when the Fairy Tale actor jokingly remarked on the latter’s singledom. “I see you staying single for the next ten years,” Sehar penned with a series of laughing emojis.
This light-hearted comment sparked a flurry of responses from both fans and Usama, setting the stage for a comedic tête-à-tête. The Nayab actor didn't miss a beat and retorted with a touch of sarcasm, “That’s true. My luck that I have to talk to you at 4 in the morning.”
In 2022, Usama was rumoured to be dating actor Anmol Baloch, while the duo was playing a couple in Aik Sitam Aur. After an interview with Fuchsia Magazine, where the two made an appearance together on public demand, the rumour mills were triggered again and Usama broke his silence on the matter once and for all.
Refuting the rumours, Usama said he was offended by the term “dating” and wants all the gossip-mongers to sit down once and forever. Furthermore, the actor took to his Instagram stories to pen a note that clarified he’s not dating Anmol. Without taking any names, he wrote, “My family will never allow me to date anyone. Those are my family values and I do have a few friends in this industry. ‘Date’ isn’t a nice word. I’d better be nikkah-fied than be dating anyone.”
