Meanwhile, during a surprise visit to Ganga Ram Hospital, the caretaker CM found piles of filth and dirt in the washrooms, while patients and their attendants complained about being charged for surgeries.

A woman patient also complained about having to buy medicines from outside the hospital.

Naqvi issued a final warning to the MS for rectifying the hospital affairs. He ordered an immediate inquiry by the Chief Minister’s Inspection Team into an alleged incident of charging money for surgery. He also ordered refund of the amount.

While visiting the Services Hospital, Naqvi directed the MD of WASA to lay a new drainage line along with the construction of a pumping station for the health facility.
