KHURRIANWALA:

Unidentified persons barged into the house of a young man and shot him in the head, killing him on the spot, police said.

Police handed over the body to relatives of the deceased after the postmortem examination and registered a case.

Nusrat Parveen, wife of Mohammad Jameel, a resident of Usman Block, Gali No. 6, Millat Town, told the police that she supported her children by working in people’s houses and had gone to Sheikhupura to attend her niece’s wedding ceremony.

Her son, Mohammad Sufyan, who worked at a store, had been alone in the house when unidentified persons barged into the house and killed him.

She told the police that she had been calling her son from Sheikhupura to ask about his well-being, but no one answered the phone.

Nusrat Parveen told the police that not hearing from her son had worried her so she called one of her neighbors, Mohammad Waqas, and requested him to visit her house to find out where her son had been.

When Mohammad Waqas went to her house he found Mohammad Sufyan lying in a pool of blood.
