Minorities Alliance Pakistan Chairman Akmal Bhatti urged the authorities to reject the discriminatory electoral system for minorities and women, emphasising that the right to vote in specific seats is a constitutional entitlement.
He criticised the exploitation by a few individuals, which he believes has compromised the democratic spirit through gerrymandering, an increase in seats, and the right to double voting, leading to electoral deprivation of minorities.

Addressing the Election Commission's constitutional responsibility, Bhatti demanded transparent and unbiased democratic processes in future elections.
He emphasised the need to prevent any external interference or doubts cast on the electoral process, ensuring equal opportunities for all political parties in election campaigns.
