Dispute escalates into both parties physically attacking each other

DIJKOT:

During an appearance in the court, the plaintiff and the accused in a murder case began fighting, turning the courtroom into a fighting ring. During the altercation, a police constable and the plaintiff were injured and shifted to the hospital after on-site medical treatment. Police detained five people on the spot and shifted them to Civil Lines police station.

Police said a case was registered on the complaint of In-charge Session Court Inspector Amir Ali Gondal. It was stated in the case that harsh language was exchanged between Sheikh Ahmed Sher and other persons and the accused Usman Farooq, Malik Yasir, Adil and others in the premises of the session court.

The dispute escalated into both parties physically attacking each other. Meanwhile, Inspector Amir Ali Gondal, Amjad Ali Sub-Inspector, ASI Iftikhar, Saqib Usman and other police officers also reached the spot.

Usman allegedly tortured Constable Saqib Usman and tore his uniform.

Constable Usman and plaintiff Sheikh Ahmed Sher were injured during the altercation between the two parties and shifted to Allied Hospital.
