Disabled individuals showcase achievements, impact 55,000

PESHAWAR:

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) organized an “Inclusive Education Gala” at the University of Peshawar to commemorate the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Individuals with physical disabilities from various educational institutions actively participated in the event, and organizations focused on disabilities set up stalls to showcase their initiatives and accomplishments, impacting around 55,000 individuals.

Nicolas Lambert, the head of the ICRC delegation in Pakistan, expressed the ICRC’s unwavering commitment to making a positive and lasting impact in the realm of physical rehabilitation for individuals with disabilities. Lambert expressed his happiness about the organization of such an event.
