Banking on it: Fake currency note case unravels

SUKKUR: Two men caught for selling fake currency notes managed to escape from the custody of the Bahoo Khoso police station near Thul on Sunday. The police had arrested Mourzado Kanrani and Mohammad Raheem Kanrani with fake notes worth Rs60,000 on Saturday. There is a suspicion that they may have cut a deal with the police. SHO Nazir Ahmed Dayo told The Express Tribune that they were believed to be involved, but were proved innocent.
