Suspects are allegedly looting people on Sargodha Road, says police

KURIANWALA:

Two “robbers” were killed while two others escaped during an alleged police encounter.

Police claimed to have seized weapons and “stolen motorcycle” from the possession of the “robbers” and registered a case. According to the incident, the suspects had been allegedly looting people on Sargodha Road.

A team of the Dolphin Force chased the robbers.

Police cornered the “motorcycle-riding robbers” near Khalid Town Small Estate.

“The robbers opened fire on a team of Dolphin Force 4 outside the vacant plots of an under-construction colony,” police claimed.

Upon receiving information about the incident, the DSP of Nishatabad, Umar Daraz Khan, the SHO of Nishatabad, Arslan Bari and the SHO of Millat Town, Sufyan, along with a heavy police force, reached the spot. The police surrounded the “robbers” and asked them to surrender.

However, instead of surrendering, the robbers continued firing at the police.
