Three Pakistan Army soldiers embraced martyrdom in two separate terror incidents in the Mir Ali area of North Waziristan district and Dera Ismail Khan, the military said in a statement on Monday.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), a fire exchange took place on the night between Sunday and Monday during which Pakistani troops effectively engaged the terrorists' location. Resultantly, one terrorist was killed.

However, it added that during the intense exchange of fire, 25-year-old resident of Mardan Sepoy Abdullah and 19-year-old resident of Tharparkar Sepoy Muhammad Sohail, having fought gallantly, embraced martyrdom.

In another incident in the general area of Darazinda, Dera Ismail Khan district, terrorists fired at vehicles of a private company working on a development project in the area.

The ISPR said, “Resultantly, two innocent civilian employees of the company, Muhammad Faisal (age: 35 years) and Asif Kamran (age: 29 years), both residents of Karak district embraced Shahadat.

“Sepoy Syed Muhammad Shaheen Shah (33-year-old and a resident of Hangu district), employed for the security of the project, having fought gallantly, also embraced Shahadat.”

Separately, an intelligence based operation was conducted in the general area of Bara, Khyber district in which one terrorist was sent to hell.

He has been identified as “Qudrat Shah alias Abubakar”. “Weapon and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist, who remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities.”
